Halkattraz, star of torturers

Don't change a working formula : the fourth episode is right like the previous ones. Perhaps too much like it, though.

The graphic style is still as impressive, with mecanics backgrounds, large explosions, strange living things - just like your basic Jodorowski volume. The character moves on in a deadly environment, blasts everyone around, and goes one level up. Coming to think of it, it sounds like a video game. But that was certainly part of the idea :p

From this point of view, it adds another interest to the serie. But from the reader point of view, each episode is very much like the previous one. Albino, the main character, arrives yet in a new place where he will learn more about the technofathers training. It looks deadly and hopeless. He somehow learns quickly but has to do evil acts he cannot bear. Thus is he authorized to move to the next school. In the meantime, his brother and sister live much more intriguing events, mostly weird but at least different.

What is interesting in this album however is that Albino ages and evolves, hopefully changing his adventures in the next volumes.
But, as compared from the Metabarons, also good but very repetitive, this is unlikely.
