The black lord
After some no-longer-than-usual delay, the third and final part of the 'trilogy' is at last in my hands. This time the album is centered around Herbert experiencing the destruction of the planet. This being a 'Monsters' album, it is drawn by a third party artist, Blanquet.
So what's to say here ? The album is globally ok, the story is nice and brings interesting new information and developments on the system built around the Great Khan (even if this is actually the end of this system). We have also new info on the Sword of Destiny, but these new rules are only valid in the very special situation of Herbert at this time. And most of all, Herbert and Marvin are reunited at the end of the album.
The graphic style is also very peculiar here, with a kind of fish's eye perspective most of the time, with very constrated colors. It is somewhat intriguing, and I wouldnt buy a serie based on this style, but for a single shot, it is okay.
