My son the killer

Here comes yet another 'Monsters' album with the content from one of the main series. It seems they have found a convenient way to develop Donjon without actually drawing it :)

We witness here the first appearance of Marvin, although we dont it right from the start - but a red dragon character is not that common even in a fantasy world. We dont know much about where he comes from, when he enters Antipolis with his mother, and he leaves at the end of the story. But we have the time to understand a bit about him, and also about what Hyacinthe is becoming. The story takes place ten years after the start of the Potron-Minet period.

This is drawn by Blutch, of whom I dont know much, this was also the case from most other 'Monsters' artists indeed. I was not globally impressed by his own style, but it still suits the action-paced album. It is also okay for the amount of gore delivered here, this being a bit more than usual for Donjon.
