Black Moon Chronicles
The Black Moon is, along with the Forgotten Lands, the needed bedside serie of all roleplayer or fantasy adept. Here monsters battle with demons, magicians, warriors, the clash of armies and burning cities are the background. Wismerhill, half-elf cleric-fighter, evolves and progress rapidly on the Empire chessboard, pawn between players avid of power and might (or avid to keep it).
Book after book the character grows and gathers an impressing and devastating hoard, and finally choose the side of the Black Moon, that rampages the Empire. In order to know who manipulates who, you would probably need to get down to hell to learn it !
