Battery Park

This is the most southern park of Manhattan.

Here is the Customs House just north of the Park itself.

This sculpture used to be on the WTC plaza, and was placed here in remembrance of the attack. You can see it received a few rubble, but remained in one piece.

In the middle of the Park is the Castle Clinton, a low (one floor) fortified place to house canons, to protect the island from British, which never came.

There is also a statue and high black plates to commemorate dead soldiers from the half of WW2 the american fought.
