Museum Mile

The Museum Mile is Central Park East, where the most prestigious museums are sitting along the trees.

A small but nice one is the Guggenheim museum, with a permanent exhibition of painters, and at this time, a temporary one about brazil.

Some hundreds of meters south is the biggest and the most impressive I've seen along le Louvre, is the Metropilitan Museum of Arts.

The Met is really massive, this is simply the entrance, seen from one floor up...

and from the side.

There is dozens of rooms to visit, we only ran through half of the museum in two hours. This is one Hand of God from Rodin.

North of the museum are a lot of new rooms additions, including this one, ready for a reception.

The middle age part is very interesting (for a roleplayer of course), in a country which hasnt seen this phase of history. Here is a group of two italian, and two german full plate armored knights and horses.

The japanese part is nice also, including the most famous painting where you see a large sea wave menacing to trample the Fujiyama. Here it is :

Outside of the Met, as everywhere else in New York, the famous hot dogs booths (selling also a lot of other things). :)
