World Trade Center (rip)

A few shots of Ground Zero and around, where the first two WTC towers were standing, from 1976 to 2001.

This is the access to the special platform the City has put into place for people wishing to have a look at the remains (now a big hole). Tickets were needed to access the platform, however it remains free. The tickets only serve to restrain access by half-hour slices.

St Paul's Chapel serves as a hosting place for the thousands of remembrance items, messages, flags, covering all walls in most streets around.

The temporary access to the platform is also a place for people to write some message on the event.

Above the remaining towers, another plane flying above the City.

Here is a panoramic view of the destruction site, from the street level...

... and from the platform level. Nothing left to see really, as at this very time, the cleanup was in the final stages.
