Personal projects

Here is a short presentation of my personal projects :

  • UCK (Ultima Construction Kit), a set of programs bent on creating from scratch a Ultima-style universe, and of course playing in it.
  • Mighty Realms, a board game inspired by Mighty Empires of Games Workshop. Manage your kingdom, go adventuring with your heroes, build up armies, and conquer a continent.
  • NPQ ("Nain Porte Quoi", litteraly Dwarf Carries What, more comprehensively Mostly Deadless), an unpretending roleplaying game out of its mind, absolutely fun-aimed, fun of its authors, then of its game masters, and of course of its poor players !!
  • Jungle is a vast project in the very first stage, but here the goal is gigantic : to simulate a realistical ecosystem.
  • Minesweeper is nothing else than the Windows game, rewritten, with some special modes.
  • Mahjjong is also a remake of a cool puzzle game under Windows.

In my still-ongoing projects there is :

  • Carrying on with UCK, of course, to add what's lacking (magic, levels, classes, skills...) but perhaps also to give it a isometric view ala Diablo. I would be needing an artist for that (hint hint).
  • The email game Realms, based on Mighty Realms. It's made around 50%, I would say, but I'm lacking time to get back on it (and also motivation, to tell the truth). If you've got plenty, I would buy some.
  • Another computer game, Empires, a classical cell-to-cell wargame. Well it's almost done, I just need to do some AI (!!).
  • A very small game, an Asteroids, almost done, I'll put on the site someday...
  • Still on computer, a chess game based on a White Dwarf issue, Dragon Chess, with a non-brutal AI (thus intelligent, at least in the way it works), and an adapted version for the Kaïssa, the chess game of Gor.
  • I started long ago a Magic, The Gathering game, aimed at playing over email, or even the net, without graphics, but with all the cards (of this period, would need a bit of updating)).
  • Nothing to do with computers, I'm reading the Gor serie from John Norman, and I'm collecting all books' datas that would make up an encyclopedia of the Gor planet (of which you can find a map on my site).
Apart from that, I invite you to support advices Kamron, who is now working on Kyrne, an online rpg well in progress. He has been hired and worked a year for Lionhead, which is a dream for a coder :). He is credited in Black and White.
